How you can support Sydney Chamber Choir
Sydney Chamber Choir relies on funds from private philanthropists, corporate sponsors and other donations to make our performances possible.
We are especially grateful to our Leading Lights and Guiding Lights, groups of choral music enthusiasts who provide ongoing financial support to the choir by committing to a minimum three-year donation program.
Sydney Chamber Choir’s "Leading Lights" and “Guiding Lights” are choral music enthusiasts who demonstrate their support and commitment by making a regular financial contribution to the choir over a minimum period of 3 years.
Fast-growing groups of like-minded supporters, our Leading Lights and Guiding Lights assist the choir financially and enjoy the opportunity to meet fellow supporters and our corporate sponsors at private drinks functions at our concerts.
For Guiding Lights, our suggested annual (tax deductible) donation is between $250 - $999. Our Leading Lights donate a minimum of $1000 annually.
To become a Leading Light or Guiding Light download an application form or call us on 1300 661 738.

One-off donations and bequests
We are immensely grateful for all contributions, and a gift of any amount makes a real difference to our activities. Repertoire of this scale requires major financial resources.
To give you an idea of how your support helps us, here are a few examples:
• $100 - $200 provides music hire for a concert.
• $1,000 contributes to the engagement of one or more professional artists.
• $4,000 means we can commission new works and support Australian composers.
To discuss your ideas, please call us on 1300 661 738 and ask to talk to Ed Suttle.
Donations of $2 or more are fully tax-deductible. A receipt will be mailed to you. All donors will be acknowledged in our printed concert programs and on our website unless you advise us that you prefer not to be acknowledged by name.
If you have any questions about our donation program, or about Sydney Chamber Choir in general, please contact us. We’d love to hear from you!
